Shock as Her Majesty , Queen Silekunola Naomi on Thursday announced her divorce from the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II.
The Queen In a statement posted on her verified Instagram handle on Thursday, announced an end to the three-year marriage to Ooni Ogunwusi.
Queen Silekunola is the second wife to divorce Ooni Ogunwusi since he ascended the throne.
Queen Wuraola Otiti Obanor who was the first to be joined in marriage with Ooni Ogunwusi in Benin, Edo State on March 16, 2016 walked out on him after one year and four months of living together in Oduduwa palace.
Queen also announced her divorce through the social media.
However, one of the notable event that could be recalled about Queen Naomi Silekunola when she married Ooni of Ife in 2018, Oba Adeyeye Enitan, was her presence at Kemisola Oguniyi’s baby’s christening that took place at Vera Christian Assembly, Ayedun Quarters, Akure, Ondo state.
Kemisola was one of the EndSars Protesters who was arrested during the protest that took place in October 2020.
She gave birth to her baby in prison custody some months ago.
Queen Silekunola attended the event and showered the baby with many gifts.
Queen Silekunola married the 51st Ooni of Ife in 2018. She gave birth to her son, Tadenikawo two years later.
Queen Silekunola is a well-known prophetess in Ondo state. She is the founder and president of En-Heralds, an interdenominational ministry which is located in Akure, Ondo state.
However, three years after her marriage to Ooni of Ife, Queen Naomi Silekunola decided to call it a quit today Thursday, December 23, 2021.
She took to her social media handles on Instagram and Facebook to announce her decision.
” Royalty does not equal happiness,” Queen Silekunola said in a statement she posted on her Instagram handle.
She explained that she did her best to endure and make it work, she smiled through the struggle, but she finally realised that she had just one assignment, her son.
She also clarified that religion was never an issue between her and the King.(vitalnews)
