President Bola Tinubu has appointed Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State as Chairman of the National Steering Committee for the Renewed Hope Ward Development Programme.
This programme aims to boost economic growth, improve living standards, and strengthen social protection across Nigeria’s 8,809 wards.
Here are the key members of the committee : Chairman – Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara State)
Vice Chairman – Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning
Members representing six geopolitical zones : – North-East:* Governor Mai Mala Buni (Yobe State), South-South:- Governor Douye Diri (Bayelsa State),
South-West:- Governor Dapo Abiodun (Ogun State), South-East: – Governor Peter Mbah (Enugu State), North-West: – Governor Dikko Umar Radda (Katsina State) and
North-Central: – Governor Hyacinth Alia (Benue State).
The programme focuses on Micro-economic growth, Social welfare,
Infrastructure development , Healthcare,Education and Economic empowerment.
