Lokoja – Kogi State Police Command said it is on the trail of gunmen that kidnapped three missionaries at Ejule , Ofu Local Government Council area on June 10.
Spokesman of the command DSP Williams Anya who stated this while Confirming the abduction of the missionaries said efforts are being made to rescue them alive.
The kidnapped three missionaries are working with the Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) in the state.
The victims, Evangelist Peter Adigidzi, Pastor Mike Baba and Pastor Sunday Abah were on ministerial assignment to Ofu Local Government when they were kidnapped.
Kogi State Coordinator of CEM, Evangelist Charles Esho said that the three missionaries were residents of Lokoja, the state capital.
Esho called on Nigerians to join CEM in prayers for divine rescue and safe return of the three missionaries. (vitalnewsngr.com)
