Police in Kaduna State have killed four suspected kidnappers and arrested 13 others during sting operations carried out in different parts of the state.
The command’s acting Public Relations Officer, ASP Manir Hassan, disclosed this to newsmen on Monday in Kaduna.
Hassan who spoke while parading the suspects said the kidnappers were killed during gun battles in different locations in Kaduna State.
He , however, said the arrest of the 13 suspects were based on intelligence reports about the suspects’ nefarious activities.
According to the police spokesman, among the suspects is one Auwal Saidu, a private security guard, who allegedly masterminded the abduction of his boss from his residence and collected N10 million the victim was released.
Some of the items recovered from the suspects included two AK-47 rifles, three locally made revolvers, two motorcycles and 15 live cartridges as well as bags of marijuana.

The police spokesman noted that all the arrested suspects would be charged to court after conclusion of investigation. (vitalnewsngr.com)
