Lukman Anwo, theA uditor of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Oyo State, is dead.
Anwo’s death was announced on Saturday in Ibadan.
Anwo was a former Chairman of the Afijio Local Government Council.
Reacting, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli expressed shock over the death of Anwo.
Alli , who is representing Oyo South Senatorial District in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, described Anwo’s death as a significant loss to the APC and the state in general.
“Hon. Lukman Anwo was a man of integrity and unwavering commitment to the progress of our party and the development of his local government.
“His demise is a painful blow to all of us who knew and worked with him. He will be sorely missed,” he said. (vitalnewsngr.com)
