Hon. Oluwole Oke, a member of the House of Representatives, representing Obokun/Oriade Federal Constituency of Osun has resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
A six- term member of the house, Oke announced his resignation from the PDP on Wednesday via resignation letter.
The resignation letter dated Wednesday, 16 April, 2025, was addressed to the PDP Chairman in Ward 7, Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State.
“I have resigned from the PDP,” Oke said in letter.
Oke said he is quitting PDP after extensive consultations with political associates, friends, and family members.
He then directed his supporters and loyalists to exit the party and await further directives.
His exit is likely to impact negatively on the fortunes of the PDP in the federal constituency.
