The Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe is dead.
Oba Adebimpe died on Wednesday after a brief illness.
His own father, Oba Gbadamosi Akanbi Adebimpe ruled for six months as Olubadan of Ibadanland in 1976.
He represented the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin at the unveiling of the new palace of Olubadan at Oke Aremo in Ibadan North local government area on July 10.
The unveiling of the new palace as reliably gathered was his last official outing.
He was conspicuously absent at the coronation of Oba Olakulehin as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland held at the Mapo Hall.
