Lokoja – Mr Onuoha Bethrand has assumed duty as the 38th Commissioner of Police in Kogi State.

Police Public Relations Officer, Kogi State Police Command, who confirmed this in a statement in Lokoja said Onuoha resumed duty on Thursday.
The new Commissioner of Police took Over from CP Akeem A. Yusuf who has been redeployed to Department of Research and Development, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
Onuoha, hails from Aboh-Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State.
He holds a BA (Hons) in History/Sociology, University of Ife and MA International Relations, Ibadan.
He was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force in the year 1992 as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.
” Onuoha is an astute law enforcement Officer who has traversed the length and breadth of Law Enforcement and Policing.
He has also held several Command position and carried out multiple task in his illustrious career.
The new CP has the Requisite expertise, Integrity, Courage and experience to oversee the affairs of the Kogi State Police Command,” Aya said. (vitalnewsngr.com)
