OF PROPHECIES AND REALITIES IN TODAY’S WORLD by Taiye Olaniyi

From time immemorial, different life experiences in nature and man have brought about several prophecies, predictions, and scientific forecasts culminating in what Dr. Kenneth Idiodi , a Rosicrucian mystic refers to, in his Sanctum musing as, “Man the Problem, Man the Solution”.

To the Prophets of old, their prophecies were indeed miracles revealed, warnings to rulers of old and the manifestation of God’s hands in human affairs through these selected individuals, the world acclaimed
” Prophets”, “Messengers” of God” who true to life had foretold what had happened in the past.

They also had foretold several events that seem unfolding today and surely may happen in the future if their words of advice to humanity are not hearkened to.

Many of these “Prophets” of old have been attributed to be the foundation of pristine religion, the scriptural writings from which nothing should be added nor subtracted by fellow man.

ONE YEAR AFTER!REMEMBERING OUR BROTHER, ABDUL-RAZAQ ADEWALE AYODEJI ALADE AGBOLUAJE (8TH JUNE, 1955 – 31ST OCTOBER, 2024)

May the blessings of Almighty God be upon them forever and ever Amen.

Similarly, the interplays of man in his biotic and abiotic natural environment, the degree of harmonizing and/ or violating the natural laws in man’s modes of life and living do often determine his fortune and/ or misfortune as time and situations unfold in human affairs.

The sociocultural, religious, and scientific differences the world over do account for what today are termed primitive, science-minded, and the technology induced societies in the geopolitics of the world.

Science in many ways has repudiated many phenomena that were once regarded as supernatural and previous miracles.

Scientific findings are nonetheless daily helping to break the shackles of superstition and general ignorance associated with many undeveloped and underdeveloped societies.

Advancements in science and technology such now the artificial intelligence and robots in the realm of science and technology do conflict with many age-old societal belief systems, especially in cultural norms, traditions, customs, and religions in the world societal order.

In today’s world, and as useful and grandiose the AIs and robots may seem to be, conflicts of interest abound between previous religious beliefs and the scientific ordering of the world order.

Sometimes one’s mind gets agitated that maybe the advent of AIs and robots in today’s human affairs is synonymous to previous uploading or downloading of fallen angels in previous prophecies and predictions.

On the other hand, scientific findings have been a blessing to man just as it has created an unconscientious attitude in many scientific breakthroughs.

Science and merchandising, technological breakthroughs, and their penchant for expanding the frontier of profit maximization is daily getting the world, our today’s world on fire.

Because of fortunes and misfortunes all over human affairs, false prophets, and fortune-tellers are daily dictating the lives of many who for one reason or the other fall victim to superstition and shackles of ignorance in their religious persuasions as well as modern scientific world.

In politics and governance, religious influences and false prophecies are taking tolls on the lives of people, and now the wars, skirmishes of war including terrorism and banditry.

“Man the Problem, Man the Solution” because of Man’s inhuman treatments to fellow man and the perceived unending failures to the solution to the world order.

Is the world now getting aflame or rolling to the frightening dimensions of another advent of “World War” and its probable ‘Nuclear inclusion”? Think About It?

Should humankind feel complacent the way things are going world over, now that man seems getting more inhuman and compounding his future with the barrage of his artificial intelligence and their usage also for certain inhuman treatments of fellow man like the fallen angels of old?
Think About It.

It is very incumbent for both the individual and collectivity of humankind of same humanity to please learn to move towards the Divine from the darkness of the mundane world to be instructed on the meaning of Illumination and the way to “Greater Light”.

No nation or part of the world, our world, no race in any part of the world is inferior and/ or superior to the other because our one and only living God is for us all members of same humanity.

If we truly approach the Divine, the Divine will surely move towards man.

By the same token, when the individual sincerely decides to have “a personal and intimate awareness of God within the domain of self” by picturing the injunction, “Know Thyself”, God Almighty that created every living being, everywhere, shall reveal Himself the richness of His greatness to such a supplicant.

If in pureness and worthiness of mind, of thoughts , words and actions we all shall then be able to realise the golden affirmation; ‘The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, but in ourselves.
William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar

Prophecy or no prophecy, scientific feats or the none of it, the prayer is: ‘May the God of our hearts and the God of our understanding teach us the way to self-mastery and personal mastership in this tumultuous time and the world of strife”. Amen.
