Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was on Saturday sworn in as the fifth Executive Governor of Kogi State.
He is taking over from Alhaji Yayaha Bello , also of the APC, who bowed out of office after eight years as the Chief Executive of the state.
The ceremony was held at the Muhammadu Buhari Civic center Lokoja in a colorful ceremony graced by Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima and Dr Umar Abdullahi Ganduje,, the National Chairman of the APC.
Ododo took the oath of office at exactly 2.30 pm which was administered on him by the Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Joseph Majebi.
