Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State has solicited the support of eminent Nigerians for his vision to transform it to an industrialized state in Nigeria.
Ododo made the solicitation at the weekend when he joined his Taraba State counterpart, Agbu Kefas to commission the newly remodelled Taraba State governor’s lodge in Abuja.
Ismaila Isah, Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor stated these in a statement obtained by Vital News on Monday.
He said Ododo used the occasion to brief the former Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, elder statesmen General Aliyu Gusau and General TY Danjuma in whose honour the Taraba State Governor’s lodge was named, on the policies and programmes of his administration.
Ododo said the support of the three eminent citizens and others across the country is needed to help him realised his dream of a new Kogi.
The governor also reiterated his determination to provide purposeful leadership for the people of Kogi State.
Ododo , commended Governor Agbu Kefas for remodeling the state governor’s lodge in Abuja into a new edifice.
Ododo also used the occasion to interact with Governors Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State and Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau state who also graced the occasion.
According to him, leaders at sub national level across the country must derive inspiration from the successes of one another in different sectors of the economy to promote all-round national development.
