Accordingly, a wireless message addressed to all departments, units, and commands, signed by the Force Secretary,Force Headquarters, warned Lafia to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations governing the conduct of police officers on suspension.

This warning comes as the Force Disciplinary Committee (FDC) prepares to determine Lafia’s case.

Police authorities also directed the Assistant Inspector-General of Police Budget and Payment to ensure that Lafia’s salary is stopped immediately.
