A former Minister of Police Affairs under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, retired Navy Captain Omoniyi Caleb Olubolade is dead.
Olubolade died in Lagos on Sunday, May 11, 2025, when he slumped during a game of lawn tennis.
Olubolade was also the third military governor of Bayelsa State from June 27, 1997, to July 9, 1998.
He was born on November 30, 1954, in Ipoti-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
Olubolade, was a community development enthusiast and devout Christian during his lifetime.
His family is yet to announce a date for his funeral.
