The Commissioner of Police in Kogi State, Miller Dantawaye, has felicitated with the state Workers on the occasion of 2025 Workers Day celebration.
Dantawaye in a statement in Lokoja on Thursday commended the workers for their level of collaboration, partnership and support to the Command in the ongoing onslaught against crime and criminality in the State.
The statement was signed by SP William Ovye Aya, Police Public Relation Officer, Kogi State Police Command.
Aya quoted the Commissioner as appealing to workers to take the issue of security very seriously and importantly by urging them to continue to volunteer credible and timely information on the activities of criminals within their locality to the Police.
The Commissioner, also commended the entire Officers and men of the Kogi State Police Command for their dedication and unwavering commitment to their duties and for ensuring the safety of lives and properties in the State.
He further commended the high level of synergy between the Police and other Security Agencies in ensuring the safety of lives and properties in the State.
Dantawaye urged the officers to double their efforts to ensure seamless and enhanced service delivery to the good people of the state.
While assuring that the Command is determined to improve in operational capacity of its personnel by sustaining the ongoing in-house refresher training for effective policing in the State.
The Commissioner urged Nigerian Workers to continue to remain law abiding as they go about their lawful businesses and activities, and report anything they reasonably suspect within their neighborhood.
