LP, PDP Lose Chairmen In FCT

Abuja – Both the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP) have each lost their Chairman in the Federal Capital Territory.

While the PDP Chairman in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) , Sunday Zakka died in a car crash late Friday night, the Chairman of LP in Karshi district of the FCT, Valentine Onuigbo died in his sleep over the night.

Zakka, died along side his orderly and driver in an auto crash.

The Secretary of the PDP in the FCT, Bako Angulu confirmed the death of Zakka.

He said Zakka died alongside his orderly and driver in a ghastly motor accident off Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport- Kuje Road, Abuja on Friday night.

Zakka was on his way to Kuje, his home town, in preparation for Saturday, 25 February, 2023, Presidential and National Assembly Elections when the accident occurred.

In the case of Onuigbo, family said he was found dead in his house Saturday morning.

They said he died in his sleep .

He was to have coordinated the activities toward Saturday election for his party and was hale and hearty before going to bed to sleep.

His corpse was deposited at the morgue of Asokoro Government Hospital by his relations.(vitalnewsngr.com)
