The Kogi State Head of Service, Dr. Elijah Evinemi has commiserated with the authorities of Federal University, Lokoja over the auto accident which claimed the lives of five students of the university on Monday in Lokoja.
Evinemi in a condolence statement in Lokoja on Tuesday described the incident as horrific and mind rendering.
He also expressed sympathy with the parents of the late students and families of others that died in the accident.
The HoS advised owners of articulated vehicles to ensure that they are always in good conditions before putting them on the roads.
According to him, such diligent checks on vehicles would reduce crashes on the roads.
