Mr Gregory Mmaduakolam, the Journalist working with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) who was kidnapped on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Owerri, Imo State has been released by his abductors.
He was released early today, Saturday, December 7 after a payment of huge ransom by his family.
Vital News reports that the abductors had earlier called the family of Mr Mmaduakolam to demand a ransom of N50 million to secure his release.
However, the exact, amount paid as ransom to secure his release is nit as at the time of this report.
Mmaduakolam was kidnapped on Thursday by the hoodlums at Irete in Owerri West council area where he went to inspect land. (vitalnewsngr.com)
