Horror As Gunmen Kill 4 Policemen, PoS Operator In Imo (video)

Gunmen on Monday evening killed four policemen and a Point of Sale(PoS) operator on the Onitsha Road area of Owerri, Imo State.

The incident happened around AA Rano and Gbobal fuel stations in the road.

The dead policemen were attached to Ogbaku Police Division in the state.

The policemen operating in a petrol van were on the trail of the gunmen when they engaged each other in a gun duel

In the process, four of the policemen were hit by bullets while one of the bullets hit a female PoS operator who also died instantly.

Eyewitnesses account said : “The gunmen engaged the policemen in a shootout and four of the policemen , including a POS operator were killed and they were covered in the pool of their blood.”

Imo State Police Command spokesman, Henry Okoye confirmed the incident

He said : “For now four police officers have been confirmed dead.

“Investigation is ongoing to unravel the miscreants responsible for the senseless attack.”
