Gunmen on Thursday in Obangede, Kogi State abducted a Chinese national and killed an operative of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The late operative of the NSCDC was one of the security men attached ti the Chinese national said to be an engineer working with a road construction firm.
Obangede, where the incident happened is in Okehi Local Government in Kogi Central senatorial district.
The incident was said to have happened around 10 am.
When called on phone for confirmation, spokesman of the state police command, SP Ovye William Aya did not pick his call.
The Special Adviser on security to the state governor, retired Commodore Jerry Omodara has also not issue any statement on the incident as at the time of this report. (vitalnewsngr.com)
