Governor Yahaya Bello, of Kogi State on Tuesday formally introduced the state governor – elect, Ahmed Usman Ododo to other state governors under the aegis, Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF).
Bello introduced Ododo to the governors at Lagos State Government House, Marina.
The governors had gathered at the Lagos Government House from where they proceeded to the Bourdillon Street, Ikoyi private residence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to pay a Christmas homage.
While receiving Ododo, the Chairman of NGF, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State extended a warm welcome to him.
He congratulated Ododo for emerging winner of the November 11 governorship election held in Kogi State.
The governors, alongside Usman Ododo, later paid a visit to President Tinubu.
This occasion not only witnessed the exchange of pleasantries but also facilitated substantive interactions with the President, delving into discussions that revolved around the paramount issues of national security and the intricacies of the economy.
