Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Friday paid a congratulatory visit to the Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima at his residence in Asokoro, Abuja.
Bello, who is the National Youth Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council visited the Vice President-elect to congratulate him on the party’s victory in the just concluded Presidential election where Senator Shettima emerged as Vice President-elect.
A statement issued on Friday by Mohammed Onogu, the Chief Press Secretary to the governor said Bello expressed his belief that Senator Shettima will provide the necessary support to the President-elect to enable the APC to deliver on its campaign promises.
The governor also expressed the optimism that Asiwaju/Shettima will confront with renewed vigour the most urgent problems facing the country by formulating policies that will improve security and the living standards of all Nigerians.
Bello who later had a close door meeting with Shettima prayed to the Almighty to guide and protect the Vice President and President-elect in the task ahead. (vitalnewsngr.com)
