Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State has invited the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Martins Amaewhule to a peace meeting.
The governor is inviting the Speaker and members of the House for a meeting to discuss the following:
(i) Provision of a befitting space for the Assembly’s sittings;
(ii) Payment of all outstanding remuneration or allowances of the Honourable members;
(iii) Presentation of Budget and sundry matters;
(iv) Any other matter(s), as may be necessary, to chart the way forward in the best interest of the State.
The meeting is proposed to be held on Monday, March 10, 2025.
