The last is yet to be heard between Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the former coach of the Super Eagles Gerot Rohr as FIFA has ordered Nigeria to pay his salary and other benefits till December, 2022.e
The Franco-german coach was sacked late 2021 for poor performance despite qualifying the team for the 2021 African Cup of Nations and playoffs round of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.
After his dismissal, Rohr decided to seek redress with the World soccer governing body and the football body has released the final verdict on the matter.
According to the report coming from FIFA, its Dispute Resolution Chamber on April 22nd, 2022 delivered the final judgment on the matter and order the NFF to pay Rohr all his wages and benefits until December 2022.
Super Eagles under coach Austin Eguavoen crashed out of the 2021 African Cup of Nations in the round of 16 and also lost the playoff round to the Black Stars of Ghana. (BSN/vitalnews)
