The Federal Government has terminated the 98-km Oyo-Ogbomoso road contract awarded to RCC Construction Company over non-performance.
Dave Umahi,the Minister of Works, disclosed this in Ibadan on Thursday at a stakeholders meeting.
The minister said the project was long overdue for completion and assured that it would soon be re-awarded to another contractor.
He said the non-completion of the road as scheduled was adversely affecting economic activities of the people in the area.
