The immediate past Governor of Kogi State,Yahaya Bello has pleaded not guilty to the 16-count charge brought against him by the EFCC ,over alleged N110billion fraud.
The embattled former Governor arrived the Federal high court premises in Abuja on Wednesday around 9:58am.
His counsel has also put up argument for his bail application.
The other defendants Umar Oricha and Abdulsalami Hudu, however have been given administrative bail by the EFCC, which they still enjoy.
Apart from money laundering allegations, Bello is also facing 80.2 Billion Naira Fraud Allegation charges before the federal high court which had been adjourned several times on instance of Bello’s absence in court.
1st to 3rd defendants are facing a fresh 110 billion Naira 16-count charge instituted against them by the EFCC. (vitalnewsngr.com)
