A member of Chief Commander Ebenezer Fabiyi Obey Inter Reformers’ Band, Alhaji Ayinla Fasasi aka Vasco Dagama died in the early hours of Tuesday at the age of 90 years.
He died in his place of birth, Iro in Ogun state after a brief illness.
Alagba Vasco Dagama rose to the position of an
Assistant General Manager, in the band before venturing out to establish his own band.
He started out as a singer then drummer before his elevation to the position of Assistant General Manager, a post he held till he left the band
The late Vasco Dagama is survived by wives, children and grandchildren
He will be buried later today in his hometown according to Islamic rites.
