Easter Music Concert: Glorify God in adversity to attract His blessings, Cleric tells Nigerians

Abuja – Reverend Festus Oniyide, the Regional Overseer, Apostolic Faith Church, has admonished Christians to praise and worship God even in adversity to attract his blessing.

Oniyide gave this advice when he officiated the church’s 2022 Easter retreat concert, with the theme “I gave my life for thee”, in Abuja on Monday.

According to him, being cheerful all the time will help Christians attract God’s blessings and interventions to check hard times.

The Regional Overseer said praising and worshiping God as a form of prayer is the fastest and best way to adore and communicate to God.

He said that the Easter music concert was a way for the church to glorify God for the sacrifice of his son on the cross for “our sins and for us to be set free.

“His suffering, death and resurrection can’t be taken for granted. We say thank you Lord,” he said.

The cleric said there should be oneness and love for one another in the midst of anxieties to attract positive God’s interventions.

“We cannot get any good thing from God if we go to Him in resentful manner.

“Remember the bible story in Acts 16. of Paul and Silas in prison.

”There incaceration, they worshipped and praised God the more in good heart without carrying the burden of being imprisoned on the face and God intervened in their situation and they became free.

“The hard times of today is not enough for us not be happy with God for the gift of life, for there is no problem that exists without God having its solution.

“Being in the season of Easter, the church expects us to cast away our burdens, praise and worship God.

“Be pure in heart and inspire others to be happy to welcome the manifestation of the King of Kings,” he said. (NAN/vitalnews)
