The Department of State Security (DSS) has released Mr Kingsley Obiora, the
Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in charge of Economic Policy.
Obiora who was in the custody of the DSS for five days was released on Saturday, September 2, 2023.
While being detained, the CBN Deputy Governor was interrogated by the Jim Obazee’s Special Investigations Panel team.
After series of interviews, Obiora was cleared of wrongdoing and asked to return to work.
His investigation was in connection with the ongoing forensic investigation of the Suspended Governor of the CBN, Godwin Emefiele. (vitalnewsngr.com)
