On Environmental Management, the Commissioner disclosed that Abia State Environmental Management Agency, ASEPA has positioned 2.7 tonne smaller size of receptacles around the cities of Aba and Umuahia for starters, stressing that the small size would help the agency navigate through roads and streets that are not wide.

He further informed that ASEPA has also embarked on the massive clean-up of major waterways and drainage around Umuahia, especially Afara through Umuahia, down to Isialangwa to avert flooding in the areas.

Contributing, the Chairman Abia state Civil Service Commission, Pastor Eno Jerry-Eze, said the present administration was interested in ensuring that capacity is built amongst the civil servants stressing that the Commission is carrying out skill mapping exercise audit in all MDAs in the state.
