Four Kidnapped Catholic Rev Sisters Regain Freedom

Imo – Four Catholic Reverend Sisters kidnapped in Imo State in Sunday, August 21 have been released by their abductors.

Their release was confirmed in a statement issued by the Secretary-General of the Sisters Of Jesus The Saviour, Sister Zita Ihedoro, on Tuesday.

The four sisters were kidnapped at the popular Okigwe-Enugu Road while on their way to mass on Sunday morning.

“With hearts full of joy, the Sisters of Jesus the Saviour wish to announce the unconditional and safe release of four of our sisters who were abducted around Okigwe-Umulolo axis on the 21st of August 2022.

“Today is a memorable day for us, therefore, we wish to share this joy with all men and women of Goodwill who, in one way or the other, have contributed to the quick and safe release of our dear sisters.
