Abuja – The Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) says it is ready to reveal the names of 7,912 bad debtors owing it N4.4tn.

It said the decision was in line with the directive of the national assembly which had earlier given the debtors a 30-day deadline to pay up.

The corporation said it had no choice beacause the debtors have failed to regularise their status within the 30-day deadline given to them by the national assembly.

The deadline expires today, January 5 and the corporation said the names of the debtors will be published in some national dailies.

Spokesperson of of the corporation, Mr Jude Nwauzor, said “AMCON has taken the decision to publish already.
