Former Lagos Deputy Governor Dr Idiat Oluranti Adebule has been declared winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos West Senatorial District Primary held at Agege Stadium, Agege.

Adebule defeated former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro and one-time Lagos Commissioner for Transportation Kayode Opeifa.

Opeifa’s quest to withdraw from the race was rebuffed by the electoral committee because voting had commenced before he announced his decision. (The Nation)
