Civil war Veteran and Proprietor of Ayoka Group Of Schools,Ogbomoso, Oyo State, retired Colonel Adegboyega Adeniran is dead.
The Ogbomoso-born Nigerian civil war hero died on Friday, 16th January, 2026 at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso.
Aged 87 years, he founded Ayoka Nursery and Primary School and later Adeniran Memorial Grammar School which was later taken over by the Oyo State Government.
He was a peace lover and a community leader.
Col. Adegboyega Adeniran, s devout Christian built the Adeniran Memorial Baptist Church, where he worshipped and served God faithfully as an Usher till time of his death.
He was also a philanthropist of note who impacted thousands through his kindness and estate at Adeniran area, helping many to become homeowners.
His life embodied humility and service.
His burial arrangement will be announced by later by his family.
