All the three senators from Kebbi State in North West Nigeria on Friday defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The three senators include the former governor of Kebbi State who is currently representing Kebbi Central in the Senate, Alhaji Adamu Ailero.
The two others are Senator Yahaya Abubakar Abdullahi of Kebbi North, and Senator Garba Maidoki of Kebbi South.
The three senators announced their plan to defect to APC shortly after a meeting with President Bola Tinubu in Aso Rock.
They came to Presidential Villa in company with APC National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje.
Also at the meeting are the Kebbi State governor, Nasir Idris, Sokoto State Governor, Ahmad Aliyu, and the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Atiku Bagudu. (vitalnewsngr.com)
