Dr. (Mrs) Peace Sule, a teacher at Akoka Junior Secondary School, Yaba, Lagos State has emerged 2024 winner of the prestigious National Best Teacher In Nigeria Award.
Sule was conferred with the award during the annual Teacher’s Day celebration held recently in Abuja.
Aside other prizes that come with the award, Dr. Peace Sule was given a brand-new 2024 Hyundai Sonata as the National Best Teacher in the Junior School category.
In his reaction, Mr. Jamiu Tolani Alli-Balogun, the state Commissioner for Basic Education, applauded Sule for the great achievement.
He said that her hard work and dedication to the teaching profession has paved the way for her to excel.
The Commissioner further commended Dr. Peace Sule for a job well done and urged her to keep up the good work.
The Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary of Education District IV, Mr. Olusegun Osinaike congratulated Dr. Sule for the remarkable achievement.
He stressed that the award was a testament to the commitment of the present administration to improving the Education sector across the State.
“Dr. Peace Sule’s achievement serves as a beacon of inspiration, demonstrating that passion for teaching and a relentless pursuit of excellence can transform lives and shape futures.
“Let us rally together to celebrate her success and encourage others to follow in her footsteps.
“It is also a result of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s investment in the education sector,” Osinaike said.
While commending the Lagos State Government through the Education District IV for the support and encouragement, Dr. Sule promised not to rest on her oars but to continue to strive more for excellence.
