A former Minister of State for Health , Chief Gabriel Aduku is dead.
Aduku, 80 years, died in his Abuja house at the early hours of Monday, March 11, 2024.
He was the immediate past Chairman of the Arewa Consultative Forum.
He was also a former President of Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA).
Chief Aduku was born on Thursday 3rd February, 1944 in Anyigba, Dekina LGA of Kogi State to the family of Aduku Aguye Aga of Ameh Ohiga clan.
As a result of his immense contributions to the development of the Igalaland, Architect Gabriel Yakubu Aduku was recognized and honored with the title of Amana Ogohi 1 by the Ata of Igala Kingdom.
Aduku was a foundation member of the Peoples Democratic Party since and was credited for the designing of the party’s logo in 1998.
