President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commiserated with the government and people of Kogi State on the passing of the revered traditional ruler, His Majesty, Dr. Ado Ibrahim, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland.
Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on media and publicity in a statement on Sunday said Tinubu described the death of Ohinoyi as a painful loss, adding that the late monarch was peace-loving, affable, and cerebral.
“The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland was in a class of his own. He was highly respected and admired for his deep insights, wisdom, and sophistication.
“He had a masterful way of handling issues. He was very knowledgeable and wise.
“May Almighty Allah grant His Majesty Aljannah Firdaus,” the President prayed.
President Tinubu asked the good people of Kogi State to take solace in the legacy of peace and fellowship left behind by the late monarch.
Alhaji Ado Ibrahim in the early hours of Sunday in Okene at the age of 95 years.
Also, the Kogi State Branch, Council of Ulama’u of Nigeria has commiserated with Governor Yahaya Bello, the families of HRM ALHAJI ADO IBRAHIM, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland and the Sultan of Sokoto, HE Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar, over the demise of Alhaji Ado Ibrahim.
The Council also sent condolences to relations, the Chairman of Kogi State Traditional Council, the Chief Imam of Ebirraland, Shaikh Muhammad Salihu Abere, the entire Muslims in Kogi State, Nigeria and beyond over the demise of the traditional ruler.
It asked the Almighty ALLAH to continue to shower His Mercy upon him, forgive all his shortcomings, grant him Jannat Firdaus and Grant the Ummah the fortitude to bear the loss, ameen. (vitalnewsngr.com)
