Bello who spoke on Saturday in Lokoja at the inauguration of the national gubernatorial campaign council for the election said the party is set for a total victory as opposition is not in existence in the state.

He advised members of the party not to be intimidated or threatened by imaginary enemies, urging them to remain firm and committed as victory is assured.

The governor warned against the re-introduction of politics of divisiveness as the election draws near, saying that it will not work.

Bello promised a level playing ground for all candidates in the election but stressed the need for all to eschew violence.

He said any attempt to introduce violence before, during and after the election will be resisted constitutionally, adding that perpetrators will not go scot-free.

Bello congratulated the governorship candidate of the APC, his running mate and members of the party and the entire people of the stare for the victory ahead in the November 11 election.

” Aside Almighty Allah, what else are we afraid of we shall celebrate, ” Bello said boastfully.

He charged members of the party not to abuse or fight anyone in the course of the campaign but urged them not to lose focus until victory is achieved.

The governor said he would work with the national campaign council to replicate the victory recorded in the last general election in the coming governorship election.

Bello also commended President Bola Tinubu, the national Chairman of the party, Professor Abdullahi Ganduje, NWC members and party members from federal to state and local government for their interest and commitment to ensure victory for the party in the coming election.

He said the party’s candidate and his running mate, Ahmed Usman Ododo and Joel Salihu were carefully chosen to continue the good work he started in January 2015, saying that the state cannot afford to backslide into the bad past. (vitalnewsngr.com)
