Abuja – Ahead of his May 29 inauguration , the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday returned to Nigeria via the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
He returned to the warm embrace of friends, relations and party supporters who had thronged the airport since 10am to give jim a rousing welcome.
Tinubu was away in Europe for over one month.
The aircraft that conveyed him touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja around 04:30pm more than two of his scheduled arrival.
With his arrival, preparations toward his inauguration as Nigeria’s next president is expected to be in top gear.
The outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari was quoted as saying that he was eager to hand over to his successor on May 29. (vitalnewsngr.com)
