The prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) Enugu State has conferred a doctorate degree in accountancy on Chief Alih Ajuh, a frontline politician in Kogi State.
Ajuh was conferred with the doctorate degree during the 50th convocation ceremony of the institution held in Nsukka on Saturday, March 25th, 2023.
In his remarks, Ajuh, a professional Accountant expressed deep appreciation to the Senate, the Governing Council, and the management for finding him worthy of the academic feat.
He also appreciated well-wishers for their show of support, love and concern while studying rigorously for the programme.
“I thank you all for graciously attending my convocation for the conferment of my Doctor of Philosophy in Accountancy (Ph.D) at the Prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka to the glory of God Almighty.
“I sincerely thank the University for finding me worthy in learning and character to be awarded the doctorate degree.
“I equally appreciate all my well wishers for the massive show of love. I return all the glory to God Almighty, ” Ajuh said.
Ajuh is a seasoned accounting professional with nearly 20 years of cognate experience.
He has a broad range of strategic and well-grounded experience in the accounting field.
He is also a great politician of repute.
At the 50th convocation, UNN awarded a total of 14,308 bachelor’s degrees, 2,482 Postgraduate degree to deserving graduands.
A total of 618 persons were awarded the Doctorate Degree of the University, while 1,690 graduands earned Master’s degree in various disciplines.
Similarly, the Postgraduate Diploma of the University was awarded to 174 persons.(vitalnewsngr.com)
