Abuja – Four members of a family have been found dead inside a poultry farm on Anguwar Street in Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.
The victims were a security guard at the poultry farm identified as Dominic Peter Adegeze, his daughters, Victoria and Judith, and his one-month old son, Peter.
They were all found dead inside their apartment in the farm.
However, his wife, Laraba, was still breathing but was unconscious and was taken to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH), Gwagwalada.
A staff of the poultry farm, who preferred anonymity, said the incident happened early Thursday morning.
He explained that another staff who went to feed the cattle in the poultry farm found the main gate under lock and key, and that he had to scale the fence to gain access into the farm.
On gaining access, he found the guard and his family members gasping and foaming from their mouths.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the FCT police command, DSP Adeh Josephine, confirmed the incident, saying investigation into the incident is already underway. (vitalnews)
