The Chairmen of all the 21 Local Government Councils in Kogi State have endorsed Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for a second term in office.

The Chairmen took the decision jointly with serving 239 elected Councillors from all the electoral wards in state.

The endorsement followed a motion by the Chairman of Olamaboro Local Government, Hon. William Ameh, and seconded by the Chairperson of the Forum of Councillors, Obaromi Comfort Olufunke from Kabba Bunu Local Government.

The motion was then unanimously accepted by all 21 council chairmen and the 239 ward councilors.

This declaration of support took place on the sideline of a three-day induction course for elected local government officials currently ongoing in Lokoja.
