The delegation led by the Honorable Commissioner, Ministry of Youth and Social Development, Mr Mobolaji Ogunlende, and the Permanent Secretary Mrs Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu left Lagos and will participate in an holistic workshop which focuses on leadership traits, leadership skills and cultural exchange.

The training workshop, according to the Commissioner, will equip the young leaders with the skills and mindsets needed for effective global leadership.

He disclosed that the trainees will also be visiting Vocational/training Centers, as Finland is famous for its great achievement in integrating Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) into its educational system.

The International trip, the Commissioner said, is in line with the T.H.E.M.E.S-Plus Developmental Agenda of the present administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in the area of youth engagement and social inclusion.

He said : “This trip is a testament to the promise of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-olu for continued youth engagement, empowerment and continued investment in the population of youths in the State.”

” These vibrant youths are expected to UNLEARN, LEARN and RELEARN with a global mindset and positively impact their sphere and circle of influence upon returning to the State.”

Similarly, the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Toyin Oke-Osanyintolu said the study tour is to give the youths opportunity for exposure and and experience gathering that will enable them perform better in all areas of life.

She added : ” As a Ministry statutorily saddled with the responsibility of youth engagement, we are determined to contribute towards the actualisation of Mr Governor’s T.H.E.M.E.S-plus Developmental Agenda; which can only be done by continuous engagement and mentoring through international global standards.”       (vitalnewsngr.com)
