Nigerian sports journalist Kunle Solaja has been honoured by FIFA and AIPS, the world body for sports journalists, for being among the most capped World Cup journalists.
Only two African journalists were on the list of 82 sports journalists who were honoured world wide.
The other African is Mark Gleeson of South Africa.
The duo were presented with certificates of achievement and replicas of the FIFA World Cup trophy.
Solaja and Gleeson, the tallest African journalist are veterans of African and global football coverage.
