Police in Toronto, Canada, have commenced investigation into a TikTok video in which threats were made by a woman against the Edo and Yoruba tribes living in Canada.
Toronto Police Service in a statement obtained through NIDCOM gave the assurances on Wednesday.
The NIDCOM has since identified the woman that issued the threat in the video.
“We are aware of the recent TikTok video in which threats were made against the Edo and Yoruba tribes in Canada.
“This incident has been reported to the Toronto Police Service and is currently under investigation.
“Your safety is our priority, and we are committed to addressing this matter promptly.
“Please remain calm and continue supporting one another.
