The Kogi State Head of Service, Dr Elijah Adeiza Evinemi has charged the sons and daughters of Ihima community in Okehi Local Government area of the state to continue to uphold the principles of hard work, integrity, and community service.
Evinemi made the charge on Sunday in Ihima while speaking at the 16th coronation anniversary of the Ohi of Ihima, Alhaji Abdulraheem Ahmed Ogido.
Evinemi, who was the Chairman of the event reminded Ihima people that the values of hard work and integrity that have defined the indigenes of the town from the time immemorial must continued to be respected.
“As we celebrate this anniversary, I urge us all to reflect on the values that have brought us to where we are today.
“Let us continue to uphold the principles of hard work, integrity, and community service that have defined our people,” the Head of Service said.
He congratulated the Ohi of Ihima, Alhaji Abdulraheem Ahmed Ogido on the 16 anniversary of his coronation.
Evinemi described the event as a celebration of a legacy of leadership, wisdom, and dedication to the development of Ihima and Ebira land.
“The Ohi of Ihima, HRH, Alhaji Abdulraheem Ahmed Ogido has been a shining example of a true leader, working tirelessly to promote peace, unity, and progress in Ihima and beyond.
“Your Majesty’s commitment to the welfare of your people and the development of our state is truly inspiring,” he said.
He also commended the citizens of Ihima who have made significant contributions to the growth and prosperity of the communities.
According to him, the conferment of titles on these individuals is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and selflessness.

congratulations to Ohi of Ihima on his 16th coronation anniversary, Evinemi prayed God to continue to make his reign to be marked by peace, prosperity, and progress.
Highlight of the ceremony was the conferment of chieftaincy titles on some Indugenes of the town.
