The governor emphasized significant allocations for key areas, with N168,350,802,346.19 (31.00%) set aside for education, N90,600,835,766.48 (16.50%) for health, and N70,682,843,744.15 (12.87%) for infrastructure development.

Additionally, sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, environment, and governance institutions will receive specific attention in the budget.

Yusuf also touched on the performance of the 2024 budget, which has achieved 77 per cent overall, noting improvements in revenue generation and a reduction in budgetary leakages.

Acknowledging the challenges faced by citizens in 2024, particularly due to federal economic reforms and rising prices, the governor expressed hope that the August protests would be the last.

He stressed the importance of supporting the youth, with plans for youth programs to mitigate potential unrest and encourage growth and stability in the state.
